Welcome to Sticky Buns Y'all! I am so excited to share my love of baking with you from my home bakery! One of the very first things I decided to bake after I was married, 17 years ago, were sticky buns. I'm not sure why I chose something that involved yeast and hours of raising, but I am happy to say that over the years I have made hundreds of sticky buns, and believe I have come close to perfecting them! I have just recently had to change my diet to gluten free, so I was determined to find a way to make my sticky buns gluten free and delicious. Even my seven year old son, who can eat gluten, said they were just as good as the regular ones. I consider that success!
As I mentioned, I have been married to my husband Joel for 17 years and we have four boys ages 10, 7, 6, and 3. It's a wild, wrestling crew! My husband is a special education teacher and I homeschool our boys. I absolutely love being able to educate them at home. It gives us more time together to learn and play! I sincerely hope you enjoy eating our sticky buns as much as we enjoy making them for you!
